One Million Degrees Career Development and Academic Enrichment Grant Request Form

Enrichment Grant funding has been depleted and this form is now closed

While we are pursuing all available options to provide additional support during this time, we don't yet know how much more enrichment grant funding will be available. We understand that this is a challenging time for many of our scholars, and we look forward to providing another update if the enrichment grant application is reopened. We will contact you via email when more funds become available.

Chicago residents, please talk to your Coordinator about the
All Chicago Emergency Grant. All students please reach out to your OMD staff person or check our website for updates on additional resources that might become available.

Overview

At One Million Degrees, we think it's fantastic you've been proactive about finding ways to further your academic and professional aspirations (that's why it's in the rubric!). Identifying and acting on those types of opportunities shows ownership of your future and exemplifies characteristics of a true OMD role model. Since you're doing your PART, we want to help pay for some of those activities that go above and beyond what it means to be a college student.

The career development and academic enrichment grant is designed to cover the costs of programs, conferences, clubs, tests, etc.that will help advance your academic and/or professional career. Please note that the enrichment grant is NOT intended for emergency funding requests such as groceries or general technology costs.

While there is no guarantee that you will be awarded this grant, to be considered for this additional support you must describe how you will use the money and explain why it's important to you and your future.

The amount requested should reflect the cost of your specific program, conference, club, test, etc.; however, you should be aware the maximum amount allowed for any scholar is $250 per year.
